On a balmy Wednesday evening in mid July 2015, a group of Ballybrack Seagulls gathered at Wesley College for what was to be the start of a weekly get together for a 7 a side Football game. As that first night of Football got under way, nobody there could have expect that in almost 8 months’ time, the Ballybrack Seagulls would be on international duty for the first time. Having took a Seagull size bite out of the Big Apple, the Ballybrack Seagulls set their sights on a new adventure. Following on from the success of the NYC trip, we needed to aim high and higher it was! The Ballybrack Seagulls mini tour of continental Europe has seen them soar through the Swiss Alps on route to the Tulip fields of Amsterdam before laying praise at the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. It was now time for the Seagulls to dig deep into their very own Norse DNA and capture the dream of reaching their very own “Valhalla”!

Connecticut, USA | 2019


Having reach our “Valhalla” following our visit to Iceland, it was time for the Ballybrack Seagulls to reach out to the Irish diaspora and connect with the descendants of Irish people who live outside the island of Ireland.

Ireland has long suffered the curse of emigration from her lands with many choosing to emigrate to the United States of America. So once again the Seagulls were going transatlantic and heading to one of the largest Irish American communities in the USA.

Beijing, China | 2019


Having scoured through two continents by this stage, it was time for the Ballybrack Seagulls to spread the wings and travel further afield. The Seagulls were about to embark on their longest long haul trip to date and venture to the “Country of the Dragon” and the continent of Asia to take on Forbidden City FC of Beijing, China.
